Béatrice Belon
Producer of jams with local flavours – Les Gaillardises

Mercantour Ecotourism label

Based in Bayasse, in the municipality of Uvernet, a signatory of the Mercantour National Park charter, Béatrice Belon makes her Les Gaillardises jams with a simple philosophy: respect for nature and the enhancement of local products. On the edge of the central area of the Park, it actively participates in the development of sustainable tourism, transforming the treasures of the mountain into authentic flavors.

Sustainable picking and trusted partnerships

For her recipes, Béatrice draws directly from the surrounding nature and sources with care:

Rosehips and larch buds picked on site, for 100% local jams.

Reasoned picking: it always leaves rosehips for wildlife, ensuring the regeneration of biodiversity.

Attention to every detail: the berries at the bottom of the bushes for hares and foxes, those at the top for deer and roe deer, thus guaranteeing the balance of the ecosystem.

Other flavours, carefully chosen from small producers in the area, to expand its range while remaining faithful to its values.

A commitment to biodiversity and the territorial link

By joining the Mercantour Ecotourism network, Béatrice is part of a collective dynamic:

  • Creating links between the valleys and local actors
  • Advising visitors on the riches of the territory
  • Guaranteeing the quality of its products, made with passion and respect

Why choose Les Gaillardises jams?
