At an altitude of 2,365 metres, Le Peguieou | Mountain restaurant in Pra Loup is the highest restaurant in Pra Loup. Located at the top of the Péguieou and Bergeries lifts, it offers one of the most spectacular panoramas in the area, with a 360° view of the Ubaye valley and the surrounding peaks.

On the plate, the mountain remains at the center of the experience: traditional dishes, generous cuisine, fresh products and beautiful pieces allow you to regain your strength before setting off on the slopes. Its terraces also allow you to enjoy the sun at altitude throughout the day.

But the Péguieou can also be discovered after the closure of the area. Evenings are organised with a snowcat ride to the restaurant, to dine at 2,365 metres in a mountain that has become silent again. An experience that has been noticed beyond the resort: in December 2025, Le Figaro included the Péguieou in its selection dedicated to new après-ski experiences, presenting it as an emblematic address in Pra Loup. Petit Futé also highlights its panoramic setting and its gourmet experience at altitude.

Perched at an altitude of 2,006 metres, La Dalle En Pente, Pra Loup Mountain Restaurant is one of the emblematic addresses of the ski area. Here, the lunch break can easily be extended: the establishment combines a bistronomic restaurant, snack bar, self-service restaurant and mountain bar, with a large terrace opening onto the peaks.

In the kitchen, local products meet more original and elaborate recipes, with a menu designed around fresh products and a selection of wines accompanied by a sommelier. But La Dalle en Pente also cultivates another speciality: the party at altitude. DJ sets, concerts and entertainment regularly punctuate the season and transform après-ski into a real rendezvous on the slopes.

At the arrival of the Costebelle gondola, at an altitude of 2,130 metres, Costebelle offers a more traditional stop in a chalet with a strong mountain character.

Wood, fireplace and warm atmosphere inside; large terrace and a panoramic view of the mountains outside: two ways to enjoy this address located at the crossroads of the slopes. The cuisine combines the great markers of the mountains with Provençal influences, for a menu that is more refined than simple high-altitude dining.

It is this particularity that Petit Futé had noted, by distinguishing Costebelle from the more classic mountain restaurants and by highlighting its regional specialties, its southern accents as well as the contrast between the outdoor solarium and the atmosphere of refuge created by the fireplace inside.

A mountain atmosphere is guaranteed at the Costebelle restaurant. Here, wood, stone and a fireplace create a warm cocoon for a lunch break or a comforting dinner.
The menu gives pride of place to Alpine classics: tartiflettes, crozets au gratin, platters to share… and even some more modern recipes. The quality-price ratio is there and the welcome is very caring.

In the heart of the ski area, Little Red Riding Hood boasts a special atmosphere. Here, the mountains are experienced with music: lunches are lively and festive, whether you choose the self-service or the à la carte.

The team offers a generous cuisine made with fresh products, in a friendly atmosphere where people come as much for lunch as to enjoy the moment. When the sun is out, the large terrace naturally becomes the ideal place to extend the break before putting on your skis again.

Directly accessible from the Molanès gondola or by the La Clappe slope, Little Red Riding Hood is a particularly accessible address to combine skiing, dining and musical atmosphere in the middle of the mountains.

Located directly on the slopes of Pra Loup, O’Manu offers simple, generous and sincere mountain cuisine, with particular attention paid to the origin of the products and short circuits.

Here, even the fries claim their local roots. The potatoes are grown by the restaurateur in his own vegetable garden, in the Ubaye valley. On nearly 2,800 m², about 300 kg of seeds are planted for a harvest of up to 3 tons of potatoes. They are then sorted, cut and cooked directly in the restaurant, at altitude: from the seedlings to the vegetable garden, from the vegetable garden to the plate, without unnecessary detours.

This approach is found more broadly in O’Manu’s cuisine, which favours fresh, local and carefully selected products as much as possible. An address where you come to regain your strength between two descents, enjoy the mountain setting and discover a mountain restaurant attached to its territory.
