Observe the animals, share a snowshoe hike with an initiation to dog sledding.

Whether you're with family or friends, you'll find everything you need to have a great time and make some wonderful memories!

Our half-day activities :

– Wildlife encounters: Easy walks, punctuated by breaks to observe the animals and discover the pleasures of snowshoeing, where you can even slide!

Chamois, mouflons, ibexes and other furry or feathered creatures will be within sight of you all along our snowshoe walks.

– Children's/family special P'tits trappeurs des bois (Little trappers in the woods): Take a break with your children (even toddlers) and learn how to build an igloo and make a fire in the snow.

There's no polar bear here, just a Great North atmosphere with igloo building, learning how to build a fire in winter and the basics of survival!

– Escape game and snowshoe hike in the bowels of Fort Maginot in Saint-Ours: A beautiful snowshoe hike and an Escape Game to discover the history of this fort in a different way. A snowshoe hike to reach the fort, with the chance to spot ibex, all set in a magnificent landscape! Afterwards, you'll plunge into the mysteries and depths of the fort of St Ours haut, a veritable labyrinth full of curiosities, to escape with a rich experience. A great outing that combines culture and fun.

– Discovering nature on snowshoes: Lovely walks in the resort's lovely spots to discover nature.

Our evening activities :

– Evening meal and stories at the farm: Discover the pleasures of a snowshoe walk by torchlight at dusk and share a convivial moment in a magnificent mountain farmhouse dating from the 14th century over a good meal. Stories and tales from Ubay are on the programme for the evening. Local produce, healthy and tasty 100% home-made cooking. Aperitif by the fireplace, tartiflette or local meat, salad, dessert, wine and after-dinner drink.

– Après-ski special – The Pra Loup escape forest: Departing from Pra Loup, the ideal way to end your day's skiing with family or friends. You'll have to solve the tests and riddles to complete this nature-based escape game and save our friend in a bad way in good spirits!

Our full-day activities :

– Survival discovery day at Pra Loup: A fabulous immersion in the wilderness and an introduction to winter survival techniques.

Spend a day with family or friends and learn the techniques and principles of survival. A snowshoe hike that's easy and accessible to all, to discover what nature has to offer. Learn about and meet your basic needs (building shelters, equipment, finding and filtering water, keeping warm, finding your bearings, animal tracks, etc.).

– Great North Day: A snowshoe walk to discover this magnificent valley and observe the animals: chamois and mouflons.

A fire-making workshop in the snow, where you'll learn survival techniques for building a 100% natural fire (flint / bark recovery and wood harvesting on site…).

An introductory igloo-building workshop, where you'll learn about the different construction techniques depending on the snow conditions, and all the secrets involved in making a good igloo.

In short, a day out in the snow, sharing adventures with family and friends.

– A day out in Haute-Ubaye: A wonderful day snowshoeing in the wild, unspoilt spaces of the high Ubaye valley.

– Sled dog: a magical half-day cocktail to fill you up with sensations and nature.

On the programme:

A guided and commented visit to the kennels (if there is enough snow for the activity to take place nearby).

Observation of wild animals: chamois, ibex and deer are often to be seen. We can provide you with a spotting scope for observation and explanation breaks.

A 30-minute sleigh ride, including a 5-minute introduction to the dogs and safety rules at the start, and a 5-minute petting and photo opportunity on arrival. 2 people will be seated in the sleigh.

With a choice of options depending on the package:

A snowshoe walk to discover a magnificent valley and nature in winter.

Or

A fire-making workshop in the snow, where you will learn survival techniques for building a 100% natural fire (flint, bark and wood harvesting on site…). We'll take advantage of the fire we start together to discover or rediscover the pleasure of roasting marshmallows.

Or

An introductory igloo-building workshop, where you'll learn about the different construction techniques depending on the snow cover and all the secrets involved in making a good igloo.
