Pra Loup

The resort of Pra Loup is built on a sunny plateau over-looking the Ubaye Valley. It is built around a central square and open-air shopping arcade, which joins on to a huge flat grassy area at the foot of the mountainside.

Numerous walks start from the resort, from short, mostly flat, family strolls to waymarked trails, that in turn connect up to national GR (Grande Randonnée) footpaths.

During the summer season a cable-car is open every day to whisk you up to the altitude restaurant for lunch or for a picnic in the beautiful Alpine meadows.

Both the central area and the grassy plateau also have plenty of bars and restaurants, mostly with large, sunny terraces boasting splendid views of the surrounding peaks.
