Currently fixed for December 15th, the opening of the station could be brought forward if snow conditions allow : Keep an eye on the site if a weekend on the slopes before the Christmas festivities sounds tempting ! Pour la seconde fois, la station accueillera du 7 au 9 mars 2008 les mondiaux de Snowscoot. Environ 140 coureurs représentants 15 nations sont attendus.
WORLD SNOWSCOOT CHAMPIONSHIPS MARCH 2008
For the second time, Pra Loup is host to the World Snowscoot Championships. Taking place from 7th to 9th March 2008, around 140 competitors from 15 nations are expected to attend.
DIVERSIFICATION TOURISTIQUE
LE GOLF La construction, en partenariat avec la commune de Barcelonnette, d'un parcours de golf 9 trous a débuté à l'automne 2007. La fin des travaux est prévue courant 2009 avec partie intégrante de ce projet, la livraison d'une résidence hôtelière.
OTHER TOURISTIC DEVELOPMENTS – THE GOLF COURSE
In partnership with the commune of Barcelonnette, work began this Autumn on a 9 hole golf course. The work is expected to be completed during 2009 and the project will include the construction of a new hotel complex.
