PRA LOUP 1500,
With charming chalets nestled into their beautiful white setting, this is the domain of the small and cosy establishment: Inns and country hotels, bed and breakfasts and 'tables d'hôtes' in restored old buildings.
The apartment blocks, although more modern, are still discreet and blend into the snowy landscape. The surrounding snow-covered meadows make some excellent toboggan runs.
The Molanès chair lift will will take you directly onto the ski-field, carrying you to an altitude of 1820 metres. You can dine at the altitude restaurant (1820m) which is also accessible for pedestrians, so non-skiers can still join you for lunch or coffee. The facilities gathered at the bottom of the chair lift, provide all the daily necessities to make your stay run smoothly, (ski equipment, newspapers, bread, food retailing)
PRA LOUP 1600,
Two kilometres further on lies Pra Loup 1600, which has everything you need to make your stay in the snow run smoothly. The resort is set on a mountain plateau nestled amongst a forest of larch trees, the apartment buildings are taller than in 1500 and the resort is more lively. Most of the chalets are found just below the entrance to the resort, looking out over the Ubaye valley.
Numerous facilities have been provided for your comfort and after nightfall, under the sparkling fairy lights, you will see the diversity of the attractions offered: shops, pubs, restaurants, nightclubs, ice rink, cinema, gamesroom .......
You will discover the typical charm of a Southern Alps resort where the shopkeepers are warm and friendly and want to share their love for Pra Loup, and their attachment to the Ubaye valley.
