All day entertainment for both young and old, while everyone waits patiently for the arrival of the old man with the white beard... 2 years ago, he arrived on a delta wing, last year on a snowmobile. What will it be this year? To find out, meet us at the bottom of the pistes around 6 pm. A huge 'Light & Sound' show with fireworks will celebrate the arrival of Father Christmas!

Testez votre rapidité sur la piste « grande rouge du lac » à 2500m d'altitude encadrée par le recordman de vitesse en monoski avec 212 km/h et 10 fois champion du monde de vitesse Monsieur Xavier COUSSEAU. Le matériel est fourni au départ de l'activité, skis, protection dorsale, casque intégral....

SNOWBALL TOUR

Do you feel you have the heart of a warrior? Do you want to take part in the only championship which is worth the sorrow to be endured? Snowball Tour 2007 is made for you! You will face worthy candidates whose goal is the same as yours : to leave victorious! Organized by Gore-Tex, the unfolding of Snowball Tour is simple: you slip on gloves, you warm up on a shooting range before moving on to the fight against an adversary! Many great prizes to be won.

MOUNTAIN SKY DIVING

Mountain ski-diving competition. This unbelievable event for the freefall addicts... Jumping out of a ‘plane, dropping at more than 230 Km/hour and opening their parachutes to hit a target 3 cm in diameter positioned at the bottom of the pistes in Pra Loup. A task made more difficult by the specific problems of the mountains in winter - high altitude (4500m descent) means low density of air and hence higher speeds, not forgetting freezing temperatures and the mountains themselves!
All this just to score maximum points!!

HARIBO SHOW

The fun and enjoyment of this competition is exclusively reserved for children from 8 to 14 years (minimum level 2nd star). The program includes a Giant slalom on the Olympic piste but in the spirit of fun as well as competition. Prize-giving is at 6 pm : cups, medals and plenty of goodies....all finishing up with a firework display at 7pm.

Every year, Pra-Loup welcomes Bridge Week, under the French Federation and organised by the Bridge Club of Pra Loup. The competitions are open to local, regional and international players (last year, we had competitors from Belgium, Luxembourg and Spain!); This is an opportunity to merge holidays, snowsports & Bridge!

Women's Ski for Free Weekend

Ski for free at Pra Loup? Sure it's possible!!! For the 6th consecutive year, Pra Loup again celebrates...... a whole weekend dedicated to those women who enjoy life on the pistes! For them, and only them, all lifts will be free for two days! They will also be able to benefit from a reduction of 50% on the hiring of equiment (rent Saturday = Sunday free). As in previous years, all females (there were more than 6000 last year) can benefit fully from the snow and the southern sunshine at a fraction of the cost! There are many additional offers during this weekend, with many restaurants, bars, nightclubs etc offering free aperitifs for the ladies or similar offers.

23rd CRITERIUM

With thirty-five nations expected to compete, this major ski competition unites skiers from all across the world. Each National ski federation can send up to eight racers to compete daily in the four disciplines, slalom, G.S., Super G and the Downhill.
