The Abriès Windmill accepts visits during the summer months, and at other times by appointment, from any families who wish to learn about life in days gone by.
The grains, chosen and grown by Mr Robert Martin, are conditionned, sorted, cleaned, dried and finally crushed by the flint millstones which date from the 17th century. The resulting, superior quality flour, 'Fleur de Farine' is on sale at the mill and is sold with a recipe for the famous pasta made in the Ubaye Valley.
